Hey all, Just to make everyone extra aware that we have been unable to lift the Street drinking ban that is in place across Stokes Croft for the Streetfest. There is a no alcohol policy, with the right to confiscate booze, however there are plenty of venues up and down the croft that will be open throughout the day, including the Junction (+garden stage), the Full Moon (+outdoor stage), Canteen, Leftbank, Croft & more. Please keep drinking within these establishments; they are all free to enter until 6pm! After which it is just a fiver (adv) for entry into every venue on the Croft.
We have also had to work hard to gain licenses and permissions for all the outdoor stage areas and really want the event to go well so that we can do it bigger and better next year. So unfortunately we cannot add any unauthorized areas, stages or systems at this late stage, as doing so could jeopardize the event’s future. Acoustic busking is fine though so feel free to bring along your instruments for a jam… there are even open mic slots available on the Full Moon stage.
We are still looking for helpers so if you do want to get involved now or in the future please come along to the info point in Kings Sq.
Many thanks and look forward to seeing you there!
PS – it’s guna be a scorcher so wear sun block, drink water & look after yourselves & each other 🙂
Thanks for your support.
